Hingham, MA—The Spofford Group Insurance Brokerage Ltd. is pleased and proud to announce that Manan Patel, Managing Director, has been selected as a winner of the prestigious 2017 Business Insurance Break Out Award.
Business Insurance’s Break Out Awards are selectively awarded to the top 40 professionals in the risk management and property/casualty insurance business across the United States. The previous Break Out Awards 40 under 40 were only limited to brokers. However, this time the competitors could be from any area of the industry–risk managers, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, wholesalers, captive managers, TPAs and other service areas. To be eligible to compete, the professionals must have 15 years of experience or less and demonstrate leadership and professional skills that set them apart from their peers.
Manan Patel has been working in the Insurance industry for over 13 years. Prior to joining The Spofford Group, Mr. Patel was Vice President and Senior Team Member at Marsh USA, Inc. Boston office in the Financial & Professional Liability Group (FINPRO) with specialization in the Financial Institutions and Technology industries. As a member of the FINPRO Innovation Council at Marsh, Mr. Patel was responsible for designing new products such as Cyber Cloud Protect.
A graduate of Boston College, Mr. Patel earned a BS in Finance and Accounting Information Systems graduating Cum Laude. Mr. Patel received his MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from Boston University School of Management.
The awards’ ceremony will take place in New York City, NY on June 13, 2017.
